    • Lease versus Buy

      In regard to average costs, a leased license costs less than the purchased version (provided the license is to be up-to-date with the latest program version at all times). Also, the lease version requires lower administrative effort due to the annual automatic renewal, but can still be canceled every year! - Payment of the monthly or annual lease fee guarantees accesses to the most current program version available at any given time. A permanent/purchased license permits the use of the program for an unlimited time period, but the program always remains at the version level at the time of purchase. In other words, when a new version is released (annually)--unlike with a leased license--the upgrade is not included with a purchased license.
