How long does it take to generate a transcription?

The processing time mainly depends on the duration of the clip and your internet speed. Typically, you will receive a transcript within a few minutes.

Are the transcriptions created by humans?

No, the transcriptions are not created by humans but are generated using AI-powered systems.

Which languages are supported?

A wide variety of languages are supported. You can find a complete list here: https://atlasti.com/supported-languages-auto-transcription

You can specify one of the supported languages to improve accuracy, or you can allow the system to detect the languages automatically. The quality of the results may vary depending on audio quality and the detected languages.

Can I create transcriptions using ATLAS.ti Web?

No, transcription packages can only be used with ATLAS.ti Desktop.

Can I use transcription packages without a license?

You can purchase the packages at any time, but they can only be used with a valid trial or a purchased license. However, you can also transfer the minutes to another person instead of activating them yourself.

Can I share transcription packages?

You will receive a one-time activation code that credits the purchased packages to your user account. You can also share this activation code with a friend or colleague instead of redeeming it yourself.

How are transcription times calculated?

Transcription time is calculated to the second based on the duration of the uploaded files.

Can I get a refund for unused minutes?

No, unfortunately, this is not possible.

What happens to my credits if my license expires?

If your license expires or becomes invalid, you will no longer be able to use the minutes. Once you activate a valid license again, the minutes will be available for use.

Can I test the transcription service before purchasing?

Yes, when you purchase a license, you currently receive 60 free minutes to test the service thoroughly.

Please note that the free trial version of ATLAS.ti does not include free minutes. Purchased transcription minutes can, however, be used with the trial version.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, bank transfers, checks, or money orders. Companies (excluding resellers), educational institutions, and government agencies can purchase licenses via invoice.

Please note that for payments made via bank transfer, check, or money order, your product will only be delivered once the full payment has been received.

Orders are only available to business customers. We can process your order only after receiving a written confirmation of your order on your company’s official letterhead. This may delay the delivery of your product.

How is my privacy protected?

We take your data protection seriously. All uploaded files are encrypted during transfer and storage. Files are deleted after transcription in accordance with our privacy policy.

Who has access to my transcribed files?

Only you have access to your transcribed files. Our staff cannot view the content unless you explicitly grant permission for troubleshooting or support purposes.
